We all hate to see people profit off death but now that seems to be the case in the music world more often than not. After Fleetwood Mac's Christine McVie passed away streams and buys of their catalog went up 200%. Then there was the auction that took place the weekend following her death. The family says this had been pre planned and so items like a dress she wore on the Rumours album ($56,250) and various awards and memorabilia she owned went for a great amount of money, all together $200,000. It's weird but who can begrudge the collectors or the family who makes the money.
