Man Fights HOA For Right To Park Tank On His Property

Outside of Houston, Texas, there’s a little town called River Oaks…and it’s there you’ll find a Lone Star State-sized controversy. It involves a tank. Local homeowner Ken Douglas bought a fully-functioning World War II military machine, and currently has it parked in the front yard of his million-dollar home. The issue here? The Homeowners Association. The HOA just wants it gone, but it’s not violating any rules…so everyone’s at a stalemate. For now, Douglas says the tank – which saw action at Normandy – is staying exactly where it is, and he hopes people drive by, see it, and say, ”Wow…that’s America.” Source: KHOU
