Airless, Puncture-Proof, Flat-Proof, Blowout-Proof Tires

 

The automotive companies have announced a new type of tire that doesn't need air, making it flat-proof, blowout-proof and puncture-proof. They call it the Uptis, which stands for "Unique Puncture-proof Tire System. They say it will last a whole lot longer than an air-filled tire, so it will reduce the amount of rubber waste in landfills,and save a few bucks on replacements. The companies are aiming for a 2024 launch.
